LOLER Awareness

Suitable for -

All personnel who are required to use lifting equipment and lifting accessories within the workplace. It will also be of benefit to anyone requiring an overview of the Regulations, such as managers and supervisors who have certain responsibilities with regard to lifting operations and lifting equipment.

The aim of the course is -

This course is designed to increase safety in the workplace by providing candidates with an awareness and working knowledge of the LOLER Regulations and safe practices to be observed when working with lifting equipment.

  • Other relevant Regulations & Legislation (including: The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998, The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999)

The course is comprised of classroom-based theory training / exercises.

Course Objectives -

On successful completion of this course, candidates will be able to interpret and understand the requirements of the LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998), including safe practices to be observed when working with lifting equipment and lifting accessories.

Venue - Either on-site at clients’ premises or at ITS Training Centre

Duration - Half Day
